INGREDIENTS:
- 2 scoops of your favorite SEEQ Clear Whey Protein Isolate
- 12 oz of water
- 2 oz of lime or lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons of gelatin (about 4-5 envelopes of gelatin)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Combine 12 oz of water and 2 scoops of your favorite SEEQ Clear Whey Protein flavor in a shaker and shake thoroughly (let the foam settle before moving to step 2).
- Add your SEEQ Clear Protein mixture and 2 oz of lime or lemon juice to a pot on low heat.
- Mix and let it simmer.
- Slowly add the gelatin to the pot one tablespoon at a time and whisk the mixture until there are no clumps.
- Pour mixtures into molds (we like using the gummy bear molds bought on Amazon!) and refrigerate for an hour or until set.
- Carefully pop the gummies out of the molds and store them in an airtight container.
TIPS & TRICKS:
- Keep the heat on the lowest setting to prevent foam or bubbles after mixing the gelatin. If the mixture doesn’t settle, the gummy bears will retain the foam.
- For sour gummies, mix 1-3 teaspoons of citric acid with 1-3 teaspoons of sugar and toss the gummies in the mixture until well coated. Adjust the ratio to your taste for super sour gummies.
- Yield is based on gummy bear mold size. The bigger the mold, the more grams of protein per gummy bear.
- Add some fun and creativity by using different jello molds. You can find a variety of molds on Amazon or at your local store to suit your taste and style!
